Featured Artist "Amy Yon"

Amy Yon was born in Reading and then the family moved to Somerset then Spain then Bristol.
Around 12/13 years old she picked up a guitar and found her voice and the ability to write songs about her life around her and the people.
At 21 she was signed to Warner Chapel Publishing and was given an  advance and a team to develop her album.
She was introduced as a new artist in the  Jeep® Lounge at the 50th Montreux Jazz Festival in 2016, performed for BBC introducing at Bristol Fringe, she was also a featured artist for Sofa Sounds in Bristol and New York at the Sennheiser music store.
Eventually Amy decided she wanted to be an independant artist and after teaming up with musician and producer Fabien Suske from Austria, they set out developing Amys’ own style of her songs as she wanted them to be.
Along the way she has supported acts such as Tom Walker/Ragnbone Man/Michael Kiwunaka/Rhodes and Leftwich plus in 2016 she co wrote a song which Lost Frequencies & Netsky wanted to use with her on vocals as well.
The song was a hit in Belgium and went to no.1 where it has garnered a double Platinum certification and Gold certification in the Netherlands and New Zealand.
So far it has amassed over 80 million streams worldwide and has over 8,000 streams on a daily basis..not bad for a relatively unknown artist..for now!
Her lastest single is Big Kid and is available on all platforms with her debut album scheduled for release later on this year.
Also listen out for her featuring on the song in the new Yellow Tail wine advert Good on Ya ..where she sings for the “Lost Boy Collective” a song called “Eyes of a Stranger”
Amy has been creating her music in her own time and under no pressure as she co-founded her own label with her producer and friends
